Ottoman Turks mahalas (neighbourhood), Jewish mahalas and Greek mahalas constituted multiple cultures in one city.Sephardic Jews came to Thessaloniki by invitation from the Ottoman Sultan and over the next four centuries, the Jewish population in Thessaloniki grew to be the largest in Europe.Take the chance to walk in stone paths that allows you to discover the secrets and the history one of the most significant cities in the Balkans. Monastirioton Synagogue, Bit Bazaar, Alatza Imaret, Allatini’s manson, Geni Hamam and Jewish Museum will anchor our tour.
